Service Description

Ditch the diet mindset. Dare to be different. Embrace the Un-diet with the Slow Down Diet by Mark David, founder of The Institute for the Psychology of Eating. Free yourself from the negative stories you may have, jump off the yo-yo dieting rollercoaster, discover what is behind your eating habits, learn what may be driving your metabolism, enjoy eating food instead of being afraid of it, learn different ways to cook for healthier eating and make this a life-long sustainable life-style shift for yourself. During the workshop we will: (1) explore 8 universal metabolizers that can fire up your weight loss efforts, (2) identify any toxic beliefs underlying our disordered relationship with food and body, (3) discover how what you eat is only half the story of optimum nutrition and metabolism, (4) Lean into relaxation, pleasure, quality and purpose for optimum physical and emotional health, (5) Inspire you to replace diet and deprivation with health, happiness and purpose. The workshop series includes: (1) 6 inspiring and educational 45-minute group coaching sessions, (2) Support material for the discussion topic, (3) Private group providing support from myself and for each other, (4) access to BFitBHealthy4Life Cooking Club following Whole30 program (optional, additional fee) to support your new habits, (5) A 45-60 minute individual coaching session at the end of the 10 weeks to create a personalized roadmap for the next steps in your weight loss and wellness journey (this is optional but recommended). All of this is provided in a safe, supportive small group environment where you can share your journey with like-minded people.
